OWN THE SECOND SCREEN DURING THE SUPERBOWL
For Super Bowl XLVI, we launched the first multi-platform Chevy app.
Through answering trivia questions, participating in live polls and inviting people to join the conversation on Twitter, we gave people the chance to win cars and other prizes.
When they registered, they got a unique license plate number. When the Chevy Super Bowl spots aired, whoever saw their plate on the back of the cars in the commercial won that car.
In just a week after we launched the app, it was number 11 on the Top Free Apps in the App Store and highlighted in the Featured section.
As the final whistle blew, it had 703,826 registrations, 10,276,102 trivia questions answered, and over 110,000 active users during the game. Totaling over 11 million page views.
